LG has launched a new model of robot cleaner – Turbo+. Competing solutions from Roomba and Dyson the new product has a number of technological bells and whistles.
“Killer-feature” of the new LG Turbo+ is the augmented reality feature Home-Joy, for which you want to install the companion mobile app. Just hover your smartphone camera over the area of the floor that you want to remove, and Turbo+ almost immediately takes the job, freeing the user from boring drawing the route. Three cameras fitted to the device, and function Home-View can monitor the service processor even when the owner is away from home. But what’s even more interesting is that Turbo+ can be used as mobile CCTV cameras. When it detects the slightest movement the robot takes a picture and sends it to the smartphone of the owner. Similar functions already prefigured in various security systems for the smart home, but among the robot cleaner such feature may meets for the first time. LG will show Turbo+ at the upcoming CES 2016.
One of the most interesting new features in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have “live photo” (Live Photos). Camera smartphone can shoot 1.5 seconds of video before and after the shutter is released, complementing the photo short video with sound. Now this format is supported in the mobile app Facebook for iOS, but to see animated pictures will only be available to owners of mobile gadgets Apple.
In the news feed Facebook “live photos” can be identified by the label Live in the lower right corner. Images in motion is available in the official social network client on devices running iOS 9.
